The United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre (UNCCT) has recently launched a virtual EXPO that provides an overview of the international efforts to prevent and counter terrorism and violent extremism across the globe. The EXPO features a designated section that specifically addresses the risk of terrorist activities involving weapons of mass destruction (WMD) or chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) materials. A thematic video library examines the threat of the illicit smuggling of nuclear/radiological material, biotechnology misuse, and the establishment of clandestine chemical laboratories.
